The sensations of hang-gliding are unique. With adrenaline and the thrills on takeoff and the feeling of flying like a bird, your hang gliding flight will leave you with wonderful memories!
With generally very good conditions for hang-gliding and beautiful landscapes, the Annecy region is one of the most beautiful places in the world for hang-gliding.
Meet your instructor at the Doussard landing (30 minutes from Annecy) then embark on the shuttle, direction Col de la Forclaz from where you will take off.
You will help your instructor ride his hang glider before tying you under the wing with him. Once the wind is blowing in the right direction, all you have to do is jump together towards the lake!
Take advantage of your flight to observe the lake and the mountains, and if you want thrills ask your pilot to do some acrobatics ...
Your pilot will take photos and videos with his on-board camera and put them on an SD card.
You will take off from the Forclaz pass, but the meeting point is at Doussard – see map below. Appointment 15 minutes before the time of your flight, then departure by shuttle with your monitor towards the Forclaz pass, in the town of Montmin : Landing at the initial rendezvous point, on the landing area of Doussard.
To fly, plan closed shoes, sunglasses, a windbreaker and your smile!
In the Annecy region, you can hang glide from April to November. In winter, if the takeoff is snowy, this is not possible.
